“About 20 years ago, I started making therapeutic skincare products for personal use at my home in the village of Nahalal, using plants I lovingly grew in my private garden. Since then, the brand Lavido has grown and evolved into a leading cosmetics company that produces effective skincare products based on active, high-quality plant extracts.”
Since 2015, we have been exporting to various countries around the world, but our pride and commitment to Israel remain at the core of our company. Here are some of the key reasons why:
- Made in Israel: All Lavido products are manufactured in Israeli factories and packaged right here in Israel.
- Support for Local Farmers: A significant portion of our raw materials is sourced from Israeli farmers.
- Printing and Packaging: Our packaging is printed and produced by Israeli printing houses, including those in Kibbutz Bari, located in the Eshkol Regional Council.
- Local Suppliers: Most of the bottles and jars for our products are purchased from Israeli suppliers.
- Boosting the Israeli Economy: As exporters, we contribute to the growth of the Israeli economy.
- Supporting Israeli Families: We are proud to employ and support around 50 Israeli households, with over 120 employees.
- Community Commitment: Giving back to the community is an essential part of our mission. In recent months, we have donated thousands of products worth tens of thousands of shekels to various causes, including to female soldiers of Brigade 411, IDF observation officers at the Kisufim HQ, IDF soldiers in the West Bank, displaced families from the south and north of Israel, soldiers of Division 98, Air Force female soldiers, ZAKA volunteers, and more.
