Planet Earth is important to Lavido! Our consideration for nature and for the preservation of the globe is at the forefront. We consistently strive and work to curate and improve our products and its production processes. This year’s theme of Earth Day is ‘Restore our Earth’. This is how Lavido follows that mission:
Eco-friendly packaging
Our new products, such as the Moisture Boost Antioxidant Mask and the Deep Detox Clay Mask, are now available in tubes made of sugarcane. This type of packaging is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly. We are now in the process of transferring all our tubes to these organic version by the end of 2021.
Vegan products that have not been tested on animals!
We recently have received the official approval and certification from Peta, one of the largest animal rights organizations in the world. We are as well recognized by the Israeli Association, Vegan Friendly, acting for veganism and animal rights.
Lavido for the prevention of extinction of species
The growing popularity of healing and care products bases on plants, herbs and essential oils increases the need to use different plants by the cosmetics industry. Essential oils require the extraction of a large amount of the plant material. It can take up to 100 plants or more just to fill up one bottle!
We made sure not to use plant-derived materials from protected species. For the formulas of our oils, we have completely removed the use of plants that are threatened to be extinct such as rosewood or Sandalwood.
We made sure to remove all the palm oil from all our products. Lavido does not want to be part of the massive demolition of these trees and forests used to produce oil. We fight for prevention of damage to all natural habitast of threatened wildlife such as the orangutan and many others.
NON GMO
The production processes of our products are carried out with a minimal processing of extracting organic oils from plants that have not been artificially manipulated or created through genetic engineering. We believe in the power of natural ingredients and will keep up that mission. Planet Earth is important to Lavido!

Lavido is equally committed to cutting-edge technologies, provided they meet strict natural guidelines, such as CO2 extraction. CO2 extraction is an eco-friendly chemical process that retains the active qualities of the plant and also allows for selective essences to be extracted.
